Terms of service
Terms of use for the ComplyTest CLI and this marketing site.
1. License
The ComplyTest CLI is licensed under the MIT License. Source is available on GitHub. You may use, modify, and redistribute the software subject to the license terms. Nothing on this marketing site overrides the LICENSE file in the repository.
2. No warranty
ComplyTest is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Compliance rules are implementations of public regulations as we interpret them. ComplyTest output is not a legal opinion and does not constitute a certification of compliance. Always pair automated scans with organizational and legal review.
3. Acceptable use
You may scan websites you own, operate, or have explicit permission to scan. Do not use ComplyTest as a vector for denial-of-service, credential stuffing, or any activity that violates the target site's terms or applicable law.
ComplyTest is rate-limited by default to one concurrent navigation per scan. Disabling this limit is at the user's responsibility.
4. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the ComplyTest contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the software or this site, including but not limited to false negatives, false positives, or downstream regulatory action.
5. Transparency notice (DSA Art 14)
We do not operate a hosting service or moderate user-generated content on this site. Should that change, this section will be updated with content moderation policies, a single point of contact, and notice-and-action procedures as required by Articles 11–14 of the Digital Services Act.
6. Changes
Material changes to these Terms will be announced via the GitHub repository's CHANGELOG and via a notice on this page for 30 days. Continued use of the site after that period constitutes acceptance.
